This was my first OTR show. I have been listening to them since 2000 when I sought their CD out after I heard their name mentioned on a Cowboy Junkies concert recording. All I can say is wow! I'm glad I finally caught up with you guys. Karen's voice is spectacular in person--as well as Linford's (and the other folks playing with the band's) musicianship -

Unfortunately, I did not make setlist notes (sorry). But my favorites of the night were the 4 new songs (I'm on a Roll, Don't want to Waste Your Time with Music You Don't Want to Hear, and two others I now can't remember the words to - one being in the encore).

I also enjoyed the band pulling out "Fairpoint Diary" from FFR. It has always been one of my favorites and was incredible to hear live.

I was also lucky enough to snag one of those awesome limited edition OTR/HEM posters.

Thanks for a wonderful evening.

(Gordon, I hope you were able to record this show- shoot me an email if you were there - sorry I didn't see you)

Yep, Karen's voice is spectacular live--soulful. I thought Hem's Don't Fence Me In was a also a nice treat. This was my second show...no setlist either. Really wish I would've brought my camera even though they weren't allowed (Why do I ever ask permission?) since a few people in the back were taking shots and I'm sure they weren't professionally hired for their digitals.
