I didn't get much response from the two previous posts in this thread, but I figured I might as well go ahead and share something else I wrote. This was written for my girlfriend, because of some things she went through with her ex-bf and as a way of reminding her how much I care for her. Let me know what you all think.....

Put it this way....you REALLY don't want to hear me sing....I make Bob Dylan sound like one of the three tenors. Besides I only have one song that I've put to music....now I just need to find someone to perform it.

this part sticks out to me, i really like it.
the whole song is quite beautiful.

btw, i think it's hard not to get feedback, too. i think, perhaps, people sometimes have a hard time commenting on another person's expression of themself. it can seem very personal.

a wise friend once said to me, write b/c it has to come out, post b/c it needs a voice, but don't post for the feedback, b/c you will be dissappointed. (thanks c)
