Great flick! Seductive story of lust and luck that becomes a gut-wrenching thriller, smart all the way through and brilliantly acted. Woody Allen directs, but not in any tone that would have identified him had I not seen his name on the credits... except perhaps that he's more brilliant than I normally give him credit for.

5 outta 5.

IMDB write-up.

EDITED TO SAY: Scarlett Johansson is freakin' HAWT.

I also loved this flick. The ending was great.....twisty and not your every day happily ever after.
A comment made near the beginning of the movie was so poignant.

I agree, fantastic movie. I absolutely loved it!

edited to add: This movie put Scarlett Johansson on my "list!"

So his other movies haven't been about the romantic entanglements of wealthy urbanites deceiving themselves and others to pursue illicit relationships? I think you just like this one because he put sports in it, Troy! wink.gif

Looking forward to seeing this myself, I like most of Woody Allen's films. And how could Scarlett Johansson not be on anyone's list after Lost In Translation?

Ha! Touche. Except.... get this.... this one's not funny.
