hello all, from the hardware city (corny, i know)

28 years old but acts like 13 year old.

i studied art at messiah college years ago. i am balancing two careers: art/photography and teaching at a a school for emotionally disturbed children. i love them both and thus live a fairly exhausted life.

i first heard OTR in 1997 in the pottery studio at messiah college. latter days hooked me from the get-go, and i've never looked back ('cept for norah jones, duke ellington, radiohead, etc.)

i like surfing and mnt. biking. climbing dispite my fear of heights.

i love kids, mostly cause i have none of my own ('cept my students).

no pets.

Hullo, Erik. It sounds like you lead an interesting life, between your two careers and your hobbies. Why is New Britain known as the hardware city? Do they make a lot of nails and washers there, or is there just an inordinate amount of Home Depots?
