I also happened to see this in Meijers about a month ago and bought it. It is very good.
I love Neil Gaiman's writting, the Sandman is an amazing comic book. And Dave McKean is just awesome.
I have heard rumors of a Sandman movie, if it is done similiar to Mirrormask I would be quite happy with it.
i was SO HAPPY TO GET TO SEE THIS IN THE THEATRE! (yay). i loved the ideas and the visuals but it wasnt really successful as a film. i still LOVE IT, THOUGH. if Mckean were to keep working in film, i believe he would become a force to reckon with. He is intelligent, understands visual things better than most and he is careful to the detail, open and is willing to take risks! i'd love the dvd but the book of the film is the medium he knows well. though, i dont know if he did the design for the book. i have to get a good look at this, soon!
i say BRAVO! i can't wait for the next one.
: )
happy me,
d
thanks for the reminder, homie! (hugs for you and rosie)

friends and i waited to hear and waited to hear each little snipit of info we could find for "neverwhere". in the end none of us found that we could get our hands on it, once it was complete. after years of effort, i gave up. i didnt know it went to series. i certainly didnt know that it was available! nice!

They have Neverwhere on DVD at my local library. It is alright, definately a semi-cheaply made european series. (Kind of reminds me of Red Dwarf, but a better story.)
