My name is atta verin, a 32 years old female translator in Indonesia. About a year ago, a publisher sent me a book to be translated into my country language: bahasa indonesia. It's a poem book: Blushing, by Paul B. Janezcko. I was so exciting. And I did my best for that beautiful romantic book of love.
A month ago, I heard that book is published. And I am very shocked, because when I saw that book, it becomes so "ugly", I want to say that it was damaged. that publisher made that beautiful book into a scrapbook, with cheapy covers and ugly way of packaging. The most distressing thing is that they edited my translation, and made a great poem into "weird" one.
It's really hurting me to see that.
So right now, I am asking this forum, would you please, help me find the contact address of Mr. Janezcko. Because I already sent a letter to the publisher that show them how dissapointed I am, but they just reply it mockingly, and blame me for protesting.
I love the original book, and I am very sorry about its version in bahasa Indonesia, specially when I am one of the translator for that book.
I want Mr. Janezcko know that case, and do something about it.
thank you.
