I've seen these numbered balls like lottery balls or billiard balls in several sigs and wondered what they are and what they mean. I did a few searches but haven't found anything...will someone enlighten me?

that probably means you tried an invalid link...what number did you try?

John, Did you use the IMG or URL user prompt? Use IMG....then replace the ##with your number before you click OK. I did it wrong a coupla' times.

It might get lost in the Random thread, so do those ball things let you put in triple digits??

Go into My Controls and find the Edit Signature link on the lefthand side. Then type (or cut & paste) this:

(img)http://www.lottery.com.ua/pics/balls/kno55.jpg(/img) , but change the paretheses to brackets [] and change your number accordingly.

Copy this:

by swiping it with your mouse with the left button held down; right-click and choose copy.
Then:
Go to My Controls.
Go to Edit signature on the left side of screen.
A text box will appear.
Above the text box click on the little icon that has a little tree in it. (To the right of the envelope)
Another box will appear.
Right click in that space and choose paste.
Where the #symbols are, carefully remove the #s and type in your number in their place (38 or whatever).
Click OK.
Click Update my signature. Your ball should then appear in your signature.

This is also how you can add little quotes or favorite lyrics or whatever into your signature if you want. If it is text and not a picture that you are adding, you need to use the icon to the left of the envelope. (I have no clue what that icon is)

i copied/pasted, put a zero in how many shows, and this is what I got...

anybody willing to advise?

When you paste the address, are you putting it in the big space or in the little box that opens up when yopu click on the icon with the tree?

After copying the link, I

1. clicked on : paintedturtlegirl

2. clicked on: edit my signature

3. pasted the link in the white box under the B for bold I for italic, etc..

4. back spaced out the ##

5. typed 0 where the ## had been

RESULT: just got the typed letters. Tried the same after clicking on the tree.

Question: What was I doing wrong?
