[shameless self promotion] Just a note to let y'all know about an extra pendleton show! Since you're likely to be around anyway, it's a good chance to see some cool art and visit with me, so I won't be too bored;) This Saturday, December 17, the Pendleton Art Center will be open from noon to five for all your last minute, fine art holiday shopping. There will be Ceramics, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Photography and Sculpture studios open for you to peruse and buy. (not all studios will be open, but there are hundreds, so there will be lots to see!)
Pixieprincess Studios is located in Studio #221. It is just off the elevator (or stairs) on the second floor. Admission is free!
For a map to the Pendleton studios, click here. or plug 1310 pendleton st. into a map generator. It's only .7 miles from Taft!! It's not the best neighborhood though, so don't walk, drive!

hey, how did it go?

It was, as expected, very slow. I did sell one piece to a fellow artist and bought a load of ceramics from my studio neighbor:) Christina stopped by and Owen (this older gentleman who always comes through on final friday, knows everyone, and almost everything, and will talk for well...ever) came by and when I mentioned OTR he said "they are the best american band and I have their CD":) Apparently the first one. AND he said he was at the filming of the video for "That song with the little girl that dies" but he might have been edited out cause he never saw it. So last night I broke out my Serpents and Gloves and LO! there he was! Zayney bear and Dan came early to pick me up so I could be entertained for a bit longer:) Oh! And I sold about $300 worth of my studio mate's stuff since he wasn't there. I should just stop making jewelry and sell his stuff with a commission!!

well, that's too bad. they don't know what they're missing. if it makes you feel any better, i gave one of your cards to the librarian yesterday. she loved my fling! she said that her oldest daughter would love something like that, so hopefully she'll be visiting the pixie land very soon.
