can you hear the accent? rolleyes.gif

hi all... i've been a Karin & Linford fan since the moment i heard them about 6 years ago.
it was an ex-boyfriend who introduced me... the best thing to come out of the whole ordeal!
now they are the standard that any other musicians must live up to before i'll switch in another CD...
and i never leave home without them. they speak to me, as i'm sure they do you.

they were just here in Minneapolis... heavenly!

it was the kick-off to my month long celebration of my Golden birthday coming up on the 27th.
the next leg of the celebration is this weekend when my best friend and i are heading to Ohio for the Christmas show! i've always wanted to go so i decided this was the year. and of course i got tickets for their other intimate gatherings on Sunday so it will be 2 days of revelling in all the beauty and magic they exude.

one little catch however...

my friend and i are very poor planners... we heard their was a hostel in Cincinnati and just planned on staying there... well we found out they're closed! and let's just say that our bank accounts are anorectic of funds

but

since i believe the Universe to be full of Abundance
when you are open
and when you ASK,

i thought i'd radio heaven
and see if any of you have any suggestions...

maybe some of you are from Cincinnati
and know of a cheap place near the Taft Theatre
or of SOME place where 2 very nice people could crash for a night or two??

need more information about us? just ask! it's me (my name is Corynn) and my best friend Greg
and we're as harmless as they come.

glad to finally poke around the orchard!

sorry, i can't help you much on the lodging, i know several people are staying at the hyatt or the millenium, both walking distance to the taft. i stayed @ the hyatt last year for $89, not bad.

you should also consider coming by and having dinner with us --> Pre-show Orchard Dinner @ Arnold's

welcome, enjoy the show.

It was nice meeting you and sitting beside you guys at the Taft. I hope you enjoyed Ohio and make it safely back to Minnesota.

Ah! Here's some familiar faces! You two are so cute! (I hope saying "cute" doesn't reflect poorly on my masculinity)

it was great to meet you guys and get a chance to hang out with ya'll for a while. i'm glad everything worked out with the tickets and that you were able to move down and join us for the taft show.

hope to see you around this place more often and to see you at some shows in the future.
zayne

nice way to spend a birthday.

what an incredible pleasure it was to meet you and greg!
you have just sweetened the orchard 10-fold.
and...yeah...another vegetarian in the midst.

anyway...welcome corynn
and...happy golden birthday (sorry it's a day late)

btw: do you sell your "recipes"?
shadowofmyself
okay so i still haven't figured out all this posting stuff...

is this the best place to shout out a big HELLO! and a YOU ALL ROCK!?

sorry it's taken so long
but i just got my NEW COMPUTER
and it's the first chance i've gotten to sit down and write.

i had such a great time meeting you all in Ohio
and i was BLOWN AWAY by your hospitality and your generosity.
i have never been so welcomed by a group of strangers!

thank you for putting greg and i up, getting us 2nd row seats,
trying to get us backstage for my birthday...
you are a fun, generous, quality group of people
and it would be awesome to meet you again.

just so you know,
i am notoriously bad
about keeping lines of communication up and running...
i tend to work telepathically
but i've been told the reception is bad.
so i will do my best to pop in every now and again.
i think it might be a whole lot easier with this new computer...
i just may start to like all this "new" technology!
(give me a break, i'm an earth sign and i have been known to hug trees)

i'll try not to be shy...
fake it till you make it, right?

hope you all survived the holidays... in some cases (like mine) your families!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
