A good sized crowd of apples, friends of the band, and book shoppers gathered for a small concert. I walked into the bookstore just in time to hear "Poughkeepsie" being played as part of sound check. dry.gif

I looked over the crowd and saw Shawn F. & Mariesa (and her mom), so I joined them. I was hoping to catch up a little on Bill's show count, since he said he'd be in Atlanta, but he had to go & surprise us. Margarita & Dan, kylie (and her mom -- apparently it was bring your mom to see OTR day!), Captain Shawn, Bruce, The Drew™, HometownBoy Dave and Elly all showed up, too.

The band was just Karin & Linford and a crew of two.

The show lasted about 45 minutes. The official set list (as snagged by Bill):

I want U2B My Love
Born
Anything At All
All I Ever Get For Christmas Is Blue
Hush Now
Drunkard's Prayer
Bothered
Trouble
Darlin' (Christmas Is Coming)
Hometown Boy

Unfortunately, the last two weren't played. (I'm hoping Darlin' gets played at Taft this year...), and
Drunkard's Prayer was played last instead of in the middle.

Karin talked about hitting her first deer with a car recently, and about why this year's Christmas tour is now titled, "Ma'am, those are Christmas lights."

Bruce found out that the horse's head that's missing from the Drunkard's Prayer cover has been turned into book ends and brought one up after the show, pretending he wanted it signed, which got a big laugh from Karin & Linford.

Pictures to follow later...

Sorry to have not made it ... while I was only a few miles away, a nap took priority, what with all the moving, baby duty, etc.

bruce & i were both eyeing it, but neither had the balls to go for it. which is saying a lot. it was soon removed, given to linford and put behind the table where they were signing.
