One of my daughters and I watched a movie from our collection last night. Now, before I go further, I love this movie. We'll usually watch it once a year or so. It's a guilty pleasure, like a slice (or three) of cherry pie.

This movie, though, gets more and more hokey with every screening! I notice it more and more every time! Certain (extrememly "manufactured") lines almost make me laugh now.

Anyway, this is for the "hokey ones." Not necessarily the ones you knew right away were terrible. Which movies did you like at first, but have worn badly over time (like a lime green leisure suit).

Step right up. Hollywood has made a bunch of 'em.

as bad and predictable as it is, i like this movie. the angst mixed with bad guy humor...priceless.

and who plays a tortured woman better than jodi foster?
