I am, though it wasn't decided for certain until last night. Just ordered a ticket--I think it was $16.75 with the
inconvenience and service charges tacked on. I know the price goes up to $12 for day-of-show--I assume the other charges still get added on?

So they added the seemingly out of print
I'm Talking With My Mouth EP to their online store, and I ordered it (it does contain a Springsteen cover, after all). $8 for a 5-song EP is a bit much, but it's through Musictoday so approx. $1.50 in shipping costs about $4.
Turns out the CD didn't magically go back into print...it's a CD-R version of the EP. The artwork was printed, but the disc itself was a pretty cheap CD-R that I could've made on my home computer. It's cool they're still offering it, but given that it's a jewel case and a 25 cent CD-R, they should perhaps lower the price a bit. Just a word of warning, since I know there's probably a few people who don't have it. Buyer beware, or whatever that silly expression is.

that concert was great! I don't know if it was short, or if the time just flew by (I neglected to note the start time), but it was well worth the trip out to Ann (Mrs. Arbor to you). Still didn't play Receiver though, which is one of my favorites, but the rest of the setlist left me without complaint. And they were available immediately after the show out in the lobby to meet with fans (something this "other" band I know hasn't been doing much of lately...*ahem*). very cool, down to earth people. I like these guys more and more, and their music, IMO, couldn't be better, right from the start...

Fantastic show! Kent, I tried getting a set-list, but someone else beat me to it! AllAboutHem will be happy to know her parents had a great time and they dedicated an adorable little ditty that they requested. They spoke so highly of you and your website! Fun night had by all!

The Cincinnati show was 79 mins. Great show, but it did seem a bit brief.

Maybe some Hem fans here don't already know the good news...Hem has a new EP called
Home Again, Home Again set for release on iTunes on June 5. It will be at other online retailers June 12 and as a real physical EP sometime soon-ish (don't know the date yet). The EP has 5 new Hem tunes (including "The Part Where You Let Go" which you may have recently heard on a
v2.0 Liberty Mutual commercial and a re-release of the fantastic "Half Acre." A preview of 3 songs can be heard through a interactive player
here. The EP is very beautiful and very Hem, so try to find it!
You can get more info about the EP and of course about the band at my website.
Yay!

Thanks Christina! And I see you're making the rounds with this news today.
The samples sound wonderful, can't wait to hear the whole thing. But Sally really needs to bring that kid out on the road soon!

I just itune'd this EP and it is very beautiful. Typical lovely Hem doing their typical lovely thang. The Part Where You Let Go & While My Hand Was Letting Go are standouts at the moment.
Something about Hem just makes me feel so soft and warm and comfy. Like I'm wrapped in a down comforter infront of the fireplace on a chilly winter night with a kahlua & milk in hand and a naked member of the opposite sex next to me. Well, maybe not all the way naked, but at least 1/2 naked. *sigh*

Which 1/2?
Thanks for the reminder, I'm gonna download it right now.

This was supposed to be released on CD yesterday, but the Borders by my work didn't have it...I came home and checked Amazon and it now lists it as "currently unavailable."
What gives?

So um, is this EP ever actually going to be released? Amazon still lists it as 'unavailable' so I'm guessing the physical release of this was either delayed again or canceled altogether. I wish they'd update their site with some info on this...

at the all about hem website, she says the physical release date is in late july/early august.
there looks to be alternate versions of the cd artwork.
maybe christina from all about hem can shed some light on all of this.

Well right, but it's now officially late July. If this release was going to happen in late July/early August, I'd think we'd know for sure by now. (or at least there'd be an updated Amazon listing) I actually want to like, give them money, and they won't let me.

I wish I had some EP release information...but I don't. I heard that CDs were in the process of being made and would be ready about now, but apparently they're still unavailable. The delays have been pretty frustrating! I'll try to get an update and report back.

Thanks for the update.

My roommate had an emusic trial so I got it from her, but I'd actually like to have a real CD. Hem's stuff is recorded so intricately that the mp3 compression doesn't really do it any favors on a home stereo.

Good news! The physical CD of the "Home Again, Home Again" EP is now available at CD Baby and Amazon. It will be available through other places shortly. I've got a rundown of places you can sample and buy it at All About Hem (August 8, 2007 news update). Yay!
