Notes: "Firefly" was on the setlist in the second set, but was replaced with "Hometown Boy." Karin had "Latter Days" written in as the last song of the encore but it was not played. The first set ended with Karin doing a new song solo on acoustic guitar, listed as "Trouble" on her setlist.

And Linford confirmed after the show that the title was "Trouble."

I liked it a lot; in the phrasing & tone, it reminded me a lot of "Fever" (the one from Hidden Treasures, not "My Love Is a Fever."). I hope we'll hear it again tonight.

Nice, thanks for sharing!
Does anyone know whether the Sunday show is also a "late" show? (what time was the Friday show over? aroung 1 AM or so?)
Jeanne
The Sunday show starts at 9 instead of 9:30. The show ended just after 1 on Friday, and a little bit before that on Saturday night. I think the breaks between sets were shorter on Saturday night.

Must sleep now...

It's been a pretty perfect weekend so far with 30 or so of my favorite people (I still can't believe Chica showed up smile.gif ), many of whom we squeezed into one big booth at Denny's not so many hours ago. And they even played Little Blue River for Bruce last night! biggrin.gif

Round three. Thank God for coffee!
b_lachey@hotmail.com
Little Blue River was truly inspired! wink.gif

And Karin changed the lyric in Etc Whatever to "trace The Bruce" instead of "bruise" - that was cool too.

My only gripes have been that Canal Street has been roasting us at around 90 degrees for most of the shows, and that Saturday's actual playlist was quite similar to Friday's, despite Karin saying they liked to "mix it up"...
kylie jo
it's gooood.

Dave: Thanks for posting the pics and videos!!! They're all great! smile.gif

Glad i got to see everyone at CST this weekend. I'm headed back to Texas today, but i'll be sure to write up a shout-out list and a 'chica review' of the shows.

I miss you all already. Have fun at the show tonight!!!
GhostWriter
erm... jealous, but eagerly awaiting more reviews and photos... wink.gif

did anyone happen to get a recording of any of the shows at canal street this weekend? i'd love a copy.
ShawnF
I have a feeling you'll see some soon. Three tapers for both Fri and Sat, and at least two that were planning on Sunday. Check in the vines section in a few days . . .

Well... I was sitting next to Keith Sunday night and I know he recorded it. He probably recorded the other nights as well.

Saturday's official set list:

I Want You To Be My Love
Little Blue River/In The Garden
What I'll Remember Most
Etc. Whatever
Spark
I Radio Heaven
Nobody #1
Show Me
Who Will Guard The Door
Trouble (just Karin)

Firefly
B.P.D./Lifelong Fling
Looking Forward
Little Did I Know
Jack's Valentine
Changes Come

Only God Can Save Us Now
Moondance
When I Go

I believe they actually played everything (and in order) from set 1. Set 2 didn't have B.P.D. Jack's Valentine was replaced by My Love Is A Fever (if my memory isn't failing me now), and I know Only God Can Save Us Now & When I Go were not done in the encore, but Faithfully Dangerous was.

Sunday's official list:

Born
What I'll Remember Most
Suitcase
Etc. Whatever
Bluer
Spark
Little Did I Know
Nobody #1
Show Me
Trouble (Karin only)

Fairpoint Diary
Lookin' Forward
Hometown Boy
Firefly
B.P.D.

Hush Now
When I Go

Everything was played in order through Firefly, then I Radio Heaven was substituted for B.P.D., and for the encores, we got Only God Can Save Us Now (Karin solo) and Drunkard's Prayer instead of the two listed.
