( Brent Schloneger prepared this sheet)

yes, i know that only a few songs were transcribed -- but what a groovy thing if they were ALL done. come on, i know there are some senior music majors out there with transcribing specialties! share the love -- be a love! wub.gif

The best source of sheet music I know of is this company, who supplies both wholesale and also to individuals.

Charles Dumont & Son

I've pretty much figured out every song they've done since Eve...most of them really aren't that complicated. But there's no way I'd ever get around to actually notating them like that, partly due to time and partly due to my dislike of notation. wink.gif

I can spit out a few chords to a song if anyone's having trouble though. A lot of them I haven't played in a long time but I can go back and try to figure it out.

If there's enough interest, maybe next summer after I'm out of school and have some time I can at least make chord charts to all the OTR songs if Drew or someone would want to put them on the site.

that would rock --

anyone willing to partner to bring the piano part into view?

zayne

You know, the new version of Mac's GarageBand can automatically create musical notations from input sound ... but that might only work with instruments plugged into the computer. Something to check on, though.

I'd be happy to transcribe a requested score.

"You know, the new version of Mac's GarageBand can automatically create musical notations from input sound"

Not familiar w/ that capability. I received my GarageBand software from my days at Berklee but don't recall it having that convenient function. I could simply use Finale. Folks just name it and I'll try to get it posted in PDF format by the end of the week.

i'd almost be willing to give up an unmentionable for a transcription of Hush Now / Stella's Tarantella. thanks for the offer Kosmik !

Kosmik, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have B.P.D and Remind Us. I've figured out the generalities (bar chords) of them, but to specifically notate it I wouldn't be able to. Translation (I can kinda play along to the songs while listening to them on my iPod.) I experimented with Garage Band, (you CAN import audio files) and the most music notation I could get out of it was the tuner telling me which notes were being played...

Since "the Klan" isn't as relevant anymore, I doubt (and hope) that sheet music remains only on the fringe of the music scene...

I just happen to know where Brent Schloneger is . . . . who's asking?
