I'm an OtR fan out in Colorado, but I used to be from Cincinatti and caught all the Sudsy Malones shows back in 1993 or so. Bought 'Til We Have Faces at a shop called Sound Alternatives and never looked back. I won't say they are the best (there are too many types of music for such a generalization), but their contribution to music is a true blessing to the rest of us.

Were you as torn up as me when they cancelled the CO shows?
Unfortunately I was not yet enlightened when K&L played Boulder in the past.
Now that I know about them, I am frantic to see them
In fact I'm making the trek to Dayton in May to catch the Canal Street shows....my first time....OMG.

I pretty much made the same statement on the Cowboy Junkies website as well, W. Daniel. There is so much good stuff out there that I find it hard to have a favorite. Each artist that I like feels a certain niche for me.

You are gonna love the Canal Street Tavern! I can think of no better place to see Karen & Linford (of course I haven't been there in 10 years...).

Yep - Colorado is an ultra keen place to live.

Do you go to the Folks Festival in Lyons in the summer?

When people in Indiana say "The Fort" vs. When folks from Colorado say it, elicit two very distinct emotions from within me. hmmmmm. awww.

Ft. Collins is a wonderful and under rated town. The down town area and the home town feel give it many things that Boulder can not boast.
