Just stopped in because of something Linford said the other night. Didn't intend to register 'til I saw the vine of one of my recordings. Now I suppose it's only proper that I say hello:
My name is Ed. I'm Cowboy Junkies' version of Bill Ivester with a little of KeithB mixed in.
I go to a few shows, record some music and like to give flowers to women.
I enjoy the company of talented people and am lucky enough to be friends with many of the people that I admire (or to admire many of my friends, however that works).
I don't expect you'll be seeing me around much, I'm trying to spend more time in actual space and less at my desk. Fall's coming on. Wood to stack. Soon leaves to rake. Always too much music and too many recordings. Never do get caught up.
It is about the music, after all.

Good to see you here! I suggest you get on your bike and come out to Dayton November 4, 5 & 6 to meet some of the gang in real space.

Hi Ed,
So great to see you here.
Your recordings are wonderful. Always really good quality.
It was my bad for not listing the specs of your awesome Ironhorse show when I offered to share it....I just didn't have 'em!
I can't mention enough how much you tapers are appreciated, especially by us folks who don't get to see our favorite bands as often as we like.
I listened to your recordings of Cowboy Junkies and OTR for many, many months before I actually ever saw either groip in person. I truly believe your recordings made a fan outta me....a live recording is so much more 'real' than a studio album, no matter how wonderful.
Remember Margo's 'In Her Own Words"? I loved you and Bob for creating that and still listen frequently.
Anyway, just so ya know, you are appreciated muchly. Thanks for the music and for stopping by. Don't be a stranger.

Hey, Ed, good to "see" you.
I'll echo Keith's sentiments and say get yourself to Canal Street in November if you can. I'd love to finally meet you in person.
