Full Version: Vacation - what are y'all doing?
this year i went to orlando for week in mid-june, because one of my friends could get us a week in her grandmother's condo for only $60 a person, for the whole week. it was nice, but i wish i had had the money to do some of the disney/universal studios stuff.
last year i spent a week in toronto because my (then) boyfriend's aunt lived there and we could stay at her place. that was a fun time.
the year before that was spent at the outer banks. never camp on ocrakoke island...way too many mosquitos!
already planning on how to use any vacation time i have for next year...it's been *far* too long since i visited california...steve, we still up for the zoo? *grin*

I've had a lovely vacation.
After my class was over, i went home for the 4th of July weekend, hung out with old friends went and saw the symphony and fireworks while laying on the lawn eating a picnic dinner. Then I came back to State College for a week or so, worked on a paper and met some reall interesting and cool people at a great little coffee shop downtown.
Then I went back to Ohio for some more rest and relaxation.
Then, I was off to NY,NY to see a dear friend, hear some great music and spend allot of time wearing jammies and watching movies.
Then, I went to Ocean City Maryland for a week, which I just came back from on Saturday. I did nothing but lay on the beach and eat crab and drink wonderful drinks with umbrellas all week. It was faboo.
Today, however, real life started again.
And that's actually pretty nice too. Its nice to be sleeping in my own bed again and be ale to walk around nekkid in my own apartment again if I want.
