Have been lucky enough to compsre OTR at Greenbelt a number of years ago and was.fortunate enough to be involved in giving David Gray.his break (White ladder was made for about $20,000 I know 'cos I wrote the check).

I Have a rule here that anyone that likes OTR when I play it I buy a copy onthe understanding that they they buy two copies and give them away.

I think he means that he wrote the check for $20,000 that got radio to play David Gray however many years ago.

I think greenleaf is simply being smoked, that's all. strange to come to a message board with this kind of thing, rather than to the band themselves, or their management.

and I don't think he was referring to payola with David Gray. I think he was saying that's how much it cost to make the actual CD. sounds about right for that CD. but again, why tell us all this? sounds more like (fake?)name dropping to me. I could be wrong...
