Breakfast Casserole
1 can of 8 crescent rolls
1lb sausage
8 eggs
1 2-cup package of shredded cheddar
salt and pepper
*crumble and brown sausage as if you were making hamburger for tacos, drain well
*lightly Pam the bottom of a 13x9 glass dish
*unroll rolls, cover the bottom of dish and as far up the sides as possible without getting a hole anywhere, sealing the seams and pinching along the top edges
*add sausage, beaten eggs, and cheese
*bake at 325* for 25-30 mins
this is very versatile, diced ham, diced onions and/or bell peppers, jaleps, bacon, pretty much anything you'd throw in an omelette may be added.
i usually try to make sausage gravy to pour on top once its on your plate, but it rarely turns out well. salsa works great in its place.
