If I were somehow, miraculously, able to get from here to there next weekend, are there still tickets left? And where would I sleep? Two main points of contention for someone who is sick with envy and contemplating who she could borrow money from and how much longer her bridesmaid's dress can remain on layaway. (The wedding isn't until July 31, anyway.)

I can maybe sorta get there, but I'm not so sure about getting back (which is important). Greyhound's earliest trip out of Dayton on Monday is something like 2 in the afternoon. Issue. If I could actually get back, though, and get the time off from work, I'd like to stop feeling like I'm missing out on something major.

I won't be able to make it. I'm going to try to go to Columbus on June 24 instead.

I didn't see this before I left, and I didn't even get into town until 6:30 or so. When I did, I had to drive out to Beavercreek to visit old friends, then over to Xenia to eat at my friend's restaurant [the Subhouse downtown].

I was the shorter of the two big guys that Karin and Linford had to keep squeezing by on their way to stage, the one wearing the green Caedmon's Call hat. Gotta represent my peeps.
