Muttering voices mixed together
Inaudible, confusing
Like the parents on the Peanuts
A murmur you wish you understood
Life feels like that
Something waiting to make sense
Lost in the shuffle of busy feet
and droning music
I need to
So bad
I'm lost
And this is how we speak now
Awkward silence
Muttering
Confusing
But once dear Friends
You sold our dog
I hawked the ring

I just found this, even though it's been posted for quite some time.

Nice job. very raw. do I detect a hint of sarcasm at the end?

I like it. Especially this part....
"And this is how we speak now
Awkward silence
Muttering
Confusing
But once dear Friends"
