Does anyone else love the fact that Karen and Linford are married? It makes the song writing so much deeper and so much more honest. Their songs, and ultimately their marriage, are symbols of other things which gives way for multiple interpretations. Agghh....great music. cool.gif

Definitely! People often talk about sexual chemistry within bands like The Kills, but OtR's is much deeper. I think the song Lifelong Fling sums it up best. Who knew monogamy could be so sexy?

I notice it so much more in Drunkard's Prayer. You feel the heartfelt emotion being conveyed through the songs. It's very powerful (imho). Could be why I like the cd so much.

One of the places I notice their chemistry most is on stage. The looks between the two of them are so great. When I see the interplay the two of them have and hear the music at the same time. I am overwhelmed. It is one of the things that makes the live shows so much better than the recordings.
