I drive a '96 white chevy cavalier with some severe paint damage on the front driver's side bumper. Did I mention that the turn signal on that side is also held on by duct tape? YES! It's awesome. It has almost 200,000 miles on it (that's what you get for several Cincy/Philly road trips a year for almost 10 years).
Nowadays, I get scared just thinking about driving beyond a 60 mile radius from the Cincinnati Greater Metro Area...
Good times!
I want to know where Daniel got that car for fitty bucks...share the wealth, D!!

I mostly drive a bicycle, but I own a Honda Civic -98. takes very little fuel, and I can't think of another reasonable quality in a car so I'm happy with it.

I'm about to put my name on the waiting list for the '07 or '08 model... 'cuz by then my school loans will be paid off, and I can trade my Corolla in and M & I won't have to fight over who gets to drive the Prius...

best. car. ever.

Um...dude have you ever driven/ridden (rode?) in an early eighties VW rabbit? And I don't believe they were made of wine so I'm sure 20 years would not do good things to one...
I just spent 2 weeks on a road trip spending quality time with my black 2002 VW Jetta GLS. She's a sweetie, but I think it's best if we spend a little time apart...

where'd you go, steve? (i know you stopped in cincy, but where else did ya go?)
oh, and i have a 2000 kia sephia.

it's silly. but it's actually kinda cute and gets good gas mileage. i was a proud urban resident/no car person til this breakup thing smacked me around, and wheels became necessary. however, i bought my car in hopes that i could sell it in about a year, returning to normalcy of a proud urban resident/no car person. we'll see!

for a little bit, your trip was similar to mine: started in eagan, mn; stayed with good friends in milwaukee, wi; stayed with a dear pen pal (since i was 13!) in chicago; drove through IN; stopped in columbus to meet dan and amanda; and then i veered into an opposite direction: cleveland and buffalo.

OK... so today... I ran out of gas for the 2nd time in my Prius... so
after running out of gas, I proceeded to drive to the nearest gas station...
I
♥ our Prius.
Driving on battery, while not recommended by the manufacturer, is a handy feature.
