i have seen otr 15 - 20 times and continue to be awed at the talent of this little combo.

the song that has special meaning to me is 'latter days' from good dog bad dog because it was the first song i ever heard from the band. it continues to grip me even years later.

OTR is pretty amazing, aren't they? Lots of different sounds and styles from them, which is something I quite enjoy about their music. A friend of mine who I took to a concert several years ago commented that if she'd walked into the show at three different times, she'd have thought it was three different bands.

they keep it interesting that's for sure.

i recently sent a friend a copy of EVE. his comment was "I really like Eve. She is a lot more rock and roll. Favourite tracks so far are track 4 "Conjectures of a Guilty Bystander" and track 7 "Daddy Untwisted".

until now he had gdbd, patience, and most recently Ohio.

he lives out of the country and can only get otr disc on-line. my hope is that he can one day experience their live show.

I worked with a woman a few years ago whose last name was "Elsass." I also was the person who sorted the library's incoming mail. And one thing that made me laugh very hard is that somehow this woman's last name managed to get mangled to "Elfass" on some corporate mailing list. (I kid you not...)
