I love CRF, and when OHIO was released I appreciated CRF even more for having Green Clouded Swallowtail. Such a great song. I love the verging on honky-tonk tone of it too.

I Let It Go is one of the most beautiful songs they've written (to me). That sucker makes me all sappy inside.

And how to say this, politely... Spinning activates my hormones (?). It speaks to my inner freak (as well as the outer one).

Love the live version of Helpless also.

I also love 'Helpless' and especially 'Toledo'...both lyrical and instrumental version. I have never heard this sung or played live on ANY bootleg.

I think the highlight of this album for me is Karin's amazing cover of Dido's Give Me Strength. I've barely been able to listen to the version on FFR since I heard it. This one just gives me shivers every time I listen to it, which is pretty often.

Spinning is ultra-cool, and I just love when Karin does that unbelievable glissando-in-harmony thing with her voice (like at the end of Last Night). It blew me away when they actually opened the Fall shows with it.

I also think that I Let It Go is a beautiful song, and I really love Green-clouded Swallowtail, especially when I'm dreaming of a different kind of freedom with the breath of God upon my tattered sail.

Toledo (with vocals) is an unusually upbeat killer song and a toe-tapper for sure. I'll never think of tumbleweeds the same way again.

I think the live version of Helpless is great also, I've been a fan of Buddy & Julie for years and I'd kill to see the four of them together.

The rest of the songs on CRF I never listen to at all.

It's kind of hit and miss, but there's some great stuff on it.

I wish they would've added the solo piano version of "The World Can Wait" that was performed on that tour though. That was a highlight for me.
