I know, I know, I should have known.... DAY-um. My mother always said I have to learn the hard way and I know, I know, I should have known...she's right.
Geez, this album is so fearless. It's like a friend now that knows me.

I do - but I thought it was just March Madness mingling with the lyrics of the song. My plan to cure this illness by travelling to Saint Louis tomorrow to watch my Louisville Cardinals win another national title. That should fix any problems about associating "blue devil" with a Tobacco Road school

This is currently my favorite track on the album. I love the simplicity of the musical arrangement. I love the vocal track. I LOVE to hear Linford sing. I am absolutely in love with the lyrics.
ok, gonna stop now before y'all haul me away.

"Bluer than the Blue Devils"
Maybe Karin prophesied Duke's loss because she and Linford are secretly Tar Heel fans!

I also had a picture of the Duke Blue Devel in my head when I first heard this song.
And I also had a picture of Pale Blue Angels in my mind that I had not seen before this song. That is the power of this song.
Listen closely at 1:55 in the song with headphones on... "Let go, let go..." and then it sounds like someone let go of something and it hit the floor.

Actually, I've changed my byline on another board to "bluer than the blue devils." It's no "slut with a mission," but I like it.
