Can someone answer a question for me? Where did "Give Me Strength" come from? I know it's credited to Dido, but I've never been able to find her version of it, so I assume it was written for or sold to OTR for the album. I know she has sold some of her songs to other, more popular, less talented "artists" before, so I guess it is possible that they bought it, but why would they do that? If it's a cover, why can't I find the original? The liner notes call it a "foreign film," but don't really explain any more than that. Help me. I must know. Thanks.

that would be a good question to post ~HERE~

It was originally written by Dido for a coming of age, gangsta rap-tinged, young black girl from the hood movie. Over the Rhine's Films For Radio was the next best option. I mean, FFR's got all of those same elements in it...

Posty - That's too funny to actually be true...right? Tell me you're joking. Truth is stranger than fiction, but...

I've been known to fib for the sake of humor.

Also for the sake of chai milkshakes.
