not to be petty, but mine didn't ship and I live at least as far away or farther than all of you so far. On top of it I am waiting for about 6 other cd's in the order. The excitement is building though. I will be checking my email every chance I get.

my mom ordered it for me. think it would be wrong to break into the church where she works (2 blocks away) so i can check hers?

i'm probably overreacting here but as a defender and supporter of paste in the past, this is the thing that kind of pisses me off about them, lack of consistancy and logic.

i know my order had to be one of the first orders placed (within an hour of the time it was posted on their site) and i have yet to receive any notice from paste. while i'm happy for all of those of you that have received notice, and that your discs have apparently shipped, i feel this is incredibly poor business on their part. these orders should be filled on a "first in, first out" basis, the first orders placed should be the first to have orders shipped, period. those taking the time to order early should be rewarded for doing so. and if people start receiving single copies that were ordered after my eight freakin' copies were ordered, paste has lost themselves a damn good customer.

I think it may depend on what shipping method you used-
Bill- you said you spend 7 dollars on shipping so you may have picked speedy ship which means it doesn't need to be sent out as quickly as those of us who use cheap shipping.

nope, i spent $7+ because i bought 8 copies from paste, and still no e-mail...

i'm not happy.

I've never had a problem with the actual ordering from Paste (the delivery? oh, tons of problems).

Today, I caved and was trying to do the Paste pre-order... it wouldn't take my credit card(s). There was some form of web error. Oh well, I guess I should stick to my guns and not order from Paste.

Here's the low-down. Your order is in the process of going out right
now. We had more than 2600 pre-orders of Drunkard's Prayer and we just
received the CDs at our warehouse on Monday. Once we received the CDs,
we had to put them in inventory as well as the "special treat" from
Linford and Karin (4 different CD case-sized postcards). Each of the 4
different designs was in a seperate box. From there, they each needed
to be organized so that each order got 1 of each design. We also only
received 1900 CDs in the shipment on Monday (the manufacturer didn't
send Linford and Karin enough to begin with), the remaining copies
should be in today or tomorrow. As far as your order being processed
after other orders that were placed later, I honestly don't know how
that happened. Like I said, we got a bunch of CDs in on Monday and a
bunch of orders went out as well. That's something I'll check with our
warehouse about. As far as having problems with past pre-orders, I
honestly wasn't here for those, so I don't know what to say, but I know
we're constantly working on making Paste better for our customers!

I received my email today also. I'm sorry that Bill is so mad but I thought the notice from Paste was pretty reasonable. Is it because you have had problems with them in the past? I have always had good luck with them. I accidently ordered the wrong CD once and called them to get it corrected. They immediately sent the one I wanted that day without charging me again trusting me to return the other one when it arrived. I don't know of any other company that would do that.

i got my "ohio" a couple of days late, "changes come" was delayed due to the fact that i opted in for some damn free sampler disc that they back-ordered or something like that. but, basically i think these orders should be filled "first in, first out" as i stated. they know we are all waiting on this, or on any "pre-order" and randomly shipping this stuff is wrong and poor business on their part. simply (and admittedly selfishly, but correctly) i made the effort to be among the first to order, they should make the effort to ensure that i be among the first shipped, not the last.

alright now I am starting to get peeved. I have not gotten an email yet. I ordered mine plenty early (at least 7 weeks). I am in mourning that some people have already received theirs and mine has not even been sent. I feel myself blood pressure rising. If my order being combined with other items screws this up. I will be irrate. As already stated the other items could not be sent because DP was not in stock yet, but if something is currently not in stock and they are holding my order for it I just might scream. I would think that 7 weeks is enough time to get the other items in stock or notify me of their inability to aquire a copy of said item. Sheesh. Sometimes I wonder whatever happened to common sense. If only I got to define it.
