I'm trying to post a good-sized reply to several different quotes... and I can't make the quote function work. Everything looks right, but the quote tags keep coming up as text. does anybody know of something i might be missing that causes this to happen? I've checked through it several times for error.

Repeat as needed. If there are any slashes missing, it will screw up your entire post.

If all else fails, break your reply into several smaller posts. It sounds like you already have your reply typed up and it simply won't display properly. Perhaps you could try cutting-and-pasting your gigantic post into several sequential smaller posts, with just one or two quotes in each? That might solve your problem....

yeah, I've checked all the brackets on the quotes. i guess i'll break it up.
