nice, moist and delicious (of course smile.gif )

What you need:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 can (12 oz) skimmed evaported milk (not sweetened condensed)
1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz)

What you do:
1. heat oven to 350. coat a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
2. stir cake mix with evaporated milk in a bowl just until mix is moistened. spread in prepared pan. pour pie filling evenly over top.
3. bake 50 minutes

just as simple as that.

I love that cake, but I've never tried to make it myself.

Making grocery list... chocolate cake mix...evaporated milk...cherry pie filling...

Somehow I have a suspicious feeling that I could just open a can of that pie filling & dig in with a spoon... blink.gif

Oh Janelle, why, WHY have you posted this? To make me drool all through work?

*whimpers*

It's okay. I'll just have to make this for the next potluck I go to. (Like I go to so many.)

I needed something easy to bring to an Oscar-watching gathering yesterday, so I made this. It is incredibly simple and very yummy. The only bad part is that there was very little left for me to bring home last night closedeyes.gif smile.gif
Thanks for the recipe, DJD!
