I called CST Friday, they said they still had tickets for Sat. so sent an MO Friday for 4 tickets. I'll call next week to confirm that they got the order and are 'holding' the tickets. So unless a big order gets to them before mine, I'm there.
Look for the gray-haired young

man with the grass clippings and mud on his pant cuffs. We take the opportunity to play a Dayton area golf course (Beavercreek! Need to exact some revenge on that track after last year's poor outing) that we usually don't want to drive to normally. I know golf talk bores most to tears; but just in case. (I know Hometown Boy Dave's a golfer, actually) Can't wait for both events!!

sorry man, you are the one that dove in with the air of negativity there. w/
"but I am not going to plan it. Sorry, I got a lot of stuff to do". why was that attitude necessary? everyone has "stuff to do", many are coming in from out of town/state, etc. "any plans for a meet-up? I would be up for going somewhere", would have sufficed just fine, in many cases negative posts get negative responses...
btw- she's right, i didn't see any requests from anyone asking you to plan it.'nuff said.

That is fair enough. I am sorry if I angered people.
I am used to a lot of things being jokes on message boards. Actually like everything being a joke.
But my negativity was out of line.

Well, I make up words all the time, so it sounds swell to me.
I will make my own nametag. It will be fun. Although it may not have the required 14 pieces of flair on it.
And definately cleanest. Right now it is the 5 day in a row I have worn the blue jeans I have on. I really need to do some laundry soon. (I do not think I smell, but I guess I could be wrong.)

There is an Uno's on Main street, the spaghetti place we went to last time, a few restaurants in the Oregon district (E 5th st) but some might be a bit expensive. Anyone here know some good Dayton restaurants?
I'm going up earlier in the day to shop on 5th street so I'll definitly be at dinner.

I was going to "recommend" Spaghetti Warehouse (where we ate last time) or Uno on Main also. There's also Brixx Ice Company at 500 E First, a couple blocks east of Canal Street. You can find menus here:

Due to Keith's unexpected cancellation, I have one extra ticket for each night. Anyone out there coming who hasn't purchased a ticket yet that wants to buy these from me on the night(s) of the show(s) for the actual price of $12 each? I'll sell them separately if you only want one for one night.

Sounds like Brixx is the place. Friday or Saturday or both? If we expect to line up outside Canal Street about 7-ish, I'd say 5-5:30.
I don't know if these links to the menu will work any better:

Thanks Jeanne, that worked. I may be pushing for time on Friday (I won't get to Dayton until 6ish if I go straight from work) but I'll definitely be there Saturday between 5-5:30 with a guest. Who all is going? Should we reserve a table?

5:30 would be fine for me either night. Or both.
