Does anyone here have a good recipe for white chocolate chip cookies with lime? I've become addicted to these babies, but I'd really like to be able to bake a batch for sharing rather than buying cookies one by one at fifty-six cents a pop. Food coloring should not figure in the ingredients list. (I do not like it, Sam I Am.)

you could modify dave's recipe and use lime zest instead. and some lime juice/finely ground zest in the chocolate icing.

Mmmm. Key lime: not just for pies anymore.

They sell some at Trader Joe's here that are alright. My suggestion would be make a chocolate chip cookie recipe with the following modifications.

Substitute white chocolate chips for regualr chocolate chips

Use only white sugar

Substitute lime juice (key limebeing my favorite) for the vanilla plus a little extra for good measure.
