Tonight, will probably be whatever I can scrounge from the fridge and pantry--I'm thinking canned chili with some cheese and sour cream and jalapenos thrown on top and a diet caffeine free coke.
keith from ny
Last night was dinner at Tavern on the Green in Central Park to celebrate our anniversary. smile.gif I had tomato gaspacho and grilled swordfish with julienne vegetables and roasted baby red potatoes, my wife had Caesar salad and prime rib with garlic mashed. Yumm!

Tonight I believe we're having spaghetti and meatballs with Classico tomato & basil sauce and Italian bread.
christina
Well, I love to cook as some of you may have noticed.

Friday night I made some awesome eats. If you are vegetarian I love you and I love vegetables, but you might not like the menu for the evening. Please take no offese.

Grilled beef tenderloin (recipe from Cook's Illustrated) This was so good. It was amazing. Six people ate 5 3/4 pounds.

Fresh green salad

Fresh roasted corn on the cob.

yum.

For you veggie lovers (sorry not vegan) Wednesday night was:

Penne with roasted fennel, cherry tomatoes, and olives, with pecorina cheese. Also tasty I might add.

Fruit salad

Wow what a great restaurant to celebrate! Did you take a carriage ride?
keith from ny
Nope, no carriage ride. I've always been afraid to do that since seeing that Seinfeld episode with Susan's parents. wink.gif

We did have a very nice outdoor dinner in their flower-filled courtyard however, just before it started raining.
zayne
edy's lime fruit pop

I had just over half of a ten-inch old-fashioned mini-pizza (pepperoni). Six hours later, I finally snacked on an apple. Pizza so good....

I'm now eating half a slice of peanut butter toast and three-quarters of a green pepper. Bedtime snack?
HappyScout
Having a big family ham dinner! My sis is in town! We are even picking our own corn!
So it is going to be a great day!
keith from ny
The weather is perfect here today. We just got finished eating grilled chicken breasts marinated in lime-garlic-ginger sauce served with fresh corn, asparagus steamed with a touch of white wine and bay leaf, and grilled red potatoes basted with butter, thyme and rosemary.

Time to go scrape down the grill...
stivmc
mmmm....tatsy...Maybe someday again amanda and I will have a grill and the time to cook real meals...

Half a whole wheat bagel (untoasted), cheddar cheese, a hard-boiled egg, and a sandwich container packed with spinach leaves, sliced green pepper, baby carrots and celery sticks. You can tell I don't eat at home all that often.... dry.gif
keith from ny
My buddy Fred sent me a Cincinnati polo shirt and a can of Skyline, so I had 4-way chili for dinner! smile.gif

Not as good as homemade, but it beats the heck out of Hormel.
liberation party
Half a whole wheat pita, hard-boiled egg, spinach, baby carrots, celery sticks, half a grapefruit, water.
Aaron
ummm, dinnner. That might be something I should aim for. I have not eaten much of anything today.
Carribeanpenguin
umm...I think technically I had a 16 oz Bud Light and a roll of cherry lifesavers for dinner (at the Willie Nelson/Bob Dylan show... cool.gif )
Aaron
It finally came down to onion rings and a whopper with cheese. That is pretty much all I have had to eat all day!!! Geez, I need to eat better.
Lynne
Sketti. Home-cooked, by me.

: )

(I love my spaghetti more than anyone else's ... 'cept, I love meatballs, and I don't make meatballs, so occasionally I enjoy Bennie's or Maggiano's sketti almost as much as my own ... for the meatballs.)

: )

Take out from Smokin' Al's BBQ. Baby back ribs, sliced brisket, cole slaw, baked beans, and corn bread. Mmmmm-hmmmmm!
christina
It feels like summer. Tonight we're having:

Grilled chicken with fresh grape glaze
Seasoned couscous
Haricots verts and tomato salad with creme fraiche dressing.
keith from ny
It feels more like winter here. Tonight will be mesclun salad greens topped with broccoli slaw, peppers, sliced mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, linguine with fra diavolo sauce and turkey meatballs, and chilled asparagus marinated in low-fat raspberry vinaigrette.
kab

LazyAsSin

I'm cooking dinner for a friend tonight, it's his birthday. He is unaware of the menu, he may even be unaware that I'm cooking.

Hale 'O Kanani menu for 08.05.05:

Baked Cornish Hens basted with Amaretto and butter,
stuffed with fresh cubed mango, nectarines and gala apples
served on a bed of orange rice
with fresh steamed spinach with a wee bit of olive oil

Desert: after a din-din like that, me.

Woof.
