how do i make my image fit into the parameters? i have normal digital photos downloaded, but i can't post them here (for an avatar or anything)--how do i make them smaller/less dense?

I usually do mine in photoshop. What photo editing programs do you have, maybe we can figure how to do it in what you have.

normally i access them for printing in hp gallery. does that ring any bells.

i don't know much about bells. or whistles. i usually just play until something works. not happening this time.

Hmm,. don't know anything about tha tprogram. What you might try though, is doing a search in help along the lines of "Resize image." it might have some helpful tips there, or it might look at you strange and give you a totally irrelivant answer.

Hey I just tried this for a post, it worked! I e-mailed myself the photo and i then I was able to post it!!!!! i am so close to know ing something, just don't know what it is!

I use 'Microsoft Photo Editor'. Your computer may already have this installed. You could search in 'programs' or 'my computer'

Once we hash this out, somebody tell me how to reduce a moving gif and not lose the moving part...
