So I went with next choice

MY avatar changed back to mr. albino gorilla all by itself just a few minutes ago.

I changed it back.

I initially had trouble changing my avatar, but then I realized that FIRST, I had to remove my old one. Crazy. I think it'd be cool if we could 'store' our favorite avatars ... so we could just click the one we want to use that day or whatever...and off we go.

People will ask eventually, so I'll just come out and say what my avatar is. It's a sculpture in a park I like to go to on sunday after church. I kind of have a weird memory of seeing it when I was a kid.

You post a lot of sculpture photos, A. I want a digital camera. I wanna show you guys my toadstools before they disappear. They can't keep crumbling forever....

My little homage to the talented (not to mention beautiful) Beth Orton....

The bad thing about animated avatars is that for people like me with dial-up connections - loading takes forever. I finally left a message board because the avatars got really crazy - animated signatures - HUGE av's, etc. It would take FOREVER for anything to load.

Just my 2 cents worth.
