patti smith's new cd is good but not as good as gung ho. as for wilco, i thought yankee foxtrot was their worst. the mermaids being their best. thats my story and im a sticking to it. 
The bootleg of demos for Yankee Hotel Foxtrot I think is better than the finished album.
