nickle creek - "why should the fire die" (getting into it, took a few listens. but it's growing on me)
I agree, Bill. I listened to it on CMT's website before it was released and I was very disappointed. But I dig it now.
"Why Should the Fire Die?" - Nickel Creek
"Hi™ How Are You Today" - Ashely MacIsaac
"Minding the Gap" - Kila
"Beolach" - Beolach
So I went a little wild and crazy.

I bought this on my lunch stop. On the bus ride. To Wheaton College. Which is where I'm at now. Gyah!
It's a great CD, too.

when i was at the show in columbus, i bought kim taylor's cd.
haven't had a chance to listen to it...she's a little too mellow and new to use as driving music in the wee hours of the am.

but i will be listening soon, and i will be looking forward to her new cd.
as will my mom...she looked over at me when kim was done playing and said, "i know what i want for christmas." ha! new convert!

Thanks for the approval. I don't know what kept me, I've had "newborn" very near the top of my favorite song list for a long time. It is still my favourite on the album, but I really like the lot of it.
