let's see. i'm 32, but i keep saying that i'm 34! i always try to prepare myself for the next year and then end up skipping a year! i've been married for 9 years to my highschool sweetie. we have an awesome 3.5 year old daughter who dresses like a "princess" every day and would live on vanilla icecream if allowed. btw, she went to her first OtR concert when she was 4 months old! (don't worry, we sat in the very back so it wouldn't be too loud and made sure no one was smoking)! Linford even gave her googly eyes.
right now i live right outside of Boulder, Colorado. if you don't know where that is, you head north and take a sharp left at Reality! my husband and i have lived here for 9 years. and besides the fact that OtR has only been here once, we LOVE it here. BUT we are moving to southern Kentucky this summer. my husband was offered his dream job teaching social work at a college out there. so, if anyone is from Kentucky, maybe you can let me know what to expect! we will be closer to Ohio. and believe me, we WILL be at any and all shows we can!
the first time i heard Otr was in '92 or '93 at cornerstone at midnight! i was immediately captivated! they have been the background music to my life ever since! like i said on another thread, when i was pregnant w/ my daughter, i ordered every last cd so that i could listen to them while i was in labor. i don't remember if i did though!!!
what else? i play the guitar, write, and sing. i would eventually like to get a cd together. i have 2 songs produced and recorded. but i have a ton more that i just need to get around to doing. things take a little longer w/ a toddler around! it's actually funny b/c the 2 songs i have recorded were done when i was pregnant. you can hear my daughter kick the guitar! i would eventually like to write a couple of books.
i also chew one thumbnail when i get nervous.
i am very passionate about Native American issues. and really any injustice. i would like to adopt 1 child from every continent!
oh, i have a degree in speech/language pathology and audiology. i don't know if i'll ever use it
b/c i still don't know what i want to be when i grow up.
that's basically me in a nutshell. i'm so excited to find this board. anyone who knows me knows that i LOVE OtR! it's nice to be united w/ people who know good music when they hear it
