i've heard that there are two versions of Eve. pray tell, what are the differences? what should i be looking for? is the preferred one still available from the merch page? in case it isn't, where should i go to look for it?

As far as I know, the only difference in versions of Eve is you either get one with a booklet or one without. There's no indie version, no re-release, etc.

Old-timer backup would be cool here, but I'm pretty sure.

nah, there's one with a hidden track and supposedly one without. naturally, i want the "with" one.

There's only one version of Eve as far as the music goes. Yes there are subtle differences if you get down to collecibility--especially at the "completist" level, but that's just due to paper type, screen printing on the disc itself and promo inserts.

Any Eve you buy will have the exact same music as everyone else's.--including the hidden track, Bothered. If someone's saying there's no 12th track or no hidden track, they just haven't taken the time to find it.

BTW, if you happen to find an original screenprinted disc release of Eve without the hidden track I'll pay you 5 times what you paid for it.

fyi-there is a copy of "eve" on e-bay w/an $11.99 "buy it now" price. based on the description, it appears to be new with cover art. a steal @ twice the price for those of you looking for a "complete" copy, just thought someone around here might be interested...

I've had this for months! I always wondered what everyone was talking about when they said, "Original version" of Bothered.

Oh, and Marq has the goods on the discography. Except that he can't hear the obvious differences on the Films For Radio promo with the three songs that are premixed differently...
