Hi, my name is Toby Weisend and I am from Barnesville, OH. That's no mistake, yes I am from Karin's hometown. I have been extremely fortunate enought to see OTR twice, once in November 2003 at Little Brothers and the other night in Dayton at Canal Street on Sunday.

I really only became aware that Karin was from Barnesville in the past couple of years. Checking with other people in town, only a few recognized her name, but did not know of her success in OTR. (Barnesville has a population of less than 5,000) One girl claimed that she recalled having piano lessons right after Karin was finished with hers. They would see each other in passing.

I am 29, live in Cleveland and am getting ready to graduate with a Master's degree. I worked in music retail for several years in several states before returning to school. Truthfully, I would rather make a prosperous career in music as opposed to utilizing my degree.

I have seen many many live shows and have videotaped many as well. The following is a list of my alltime favorite bands: The Waxwings, Sebadoh, Sloan, Poole, The Revelers, The Greenberry Woods, The Outfield, Stone Roses, Ride, Mojave 3, Jennifer Knapp, Damien Jurado, and Arlo and OTR

I think it would be really cool if Karin and Linford came back to Barnesville to do a surprise show. I would definitely be there. Of all the live bands that I have seen several stand out including Gogol Bordello, They Might Be Giants, The Tragically Hip, Less Than Jake, but truthfully no one has absorbed me like OTR. They are by far the best live band that I have ever seen. I hope to see them as many times as I can.
