I have to add Show Me and How Long Have You Been Stoned to my list.
Even though Show Me is a bit on the pop side (which I don't mind really) I just find myself smiling and loving several of the lines in the lyrics. HLHYBS I have found the lyrics to get deeper the more I listen to it.

I heard "She" when Karin and Linford stopped through Indianapolis before the release of 'Ohio' - It was a fave back then, and is a fave now. I'm really enthralled with Nobody #1 - the lyrics are hitting home right now. Idea #21 is such an uplifting tune, and I think it is one of their most adventurous and original pieces. I felt like I had traveled back to my hometown of Columbus, GA, and was sitting in the pews of my old Baptist chruch....

I was the same way, Troy. That was the only song I wasn't feeling. It was too much organ/wurlitzer, whatever. What I did w/
OHIO was end up burning a copy for my truck leaving off some tunes so I could listen to it on one cd minus 3-4 songs. After a while I started wanting to hear the ones I left off and re-made another truck copy and swapped out songs. *Voila* I like
WYSL now, a lot. I will admit to still being very, very curious how that song sounds without all the keyboard stylings. Maybe even hear it slowed down, just once...
It was interesting for me too cause I realized that
WYSL reminds me a lot of
Hej (i do), and I took a while to warm up to that song too. Just things that make me go hmmm. That's all.

Hmmm. Well, Michelle, considering my *mad* respect for you and your taste, I have yet to close my mind to it. When I drive up, I'll try again to get to know it better.
If I don't like it, though, by the time I get there then I'm gonna inform Karin and Linford that it's comin off the disk.

The order changes (usually as the CD goes by), but the songs are generally the same. "Stoned" makes an occasional top 3 appearance, depending on...well, my answer to the question at the time.

I haven't really had time to listen to it enogh yet (lot of information on two CD:s) But Stoned definately pops out...
Not to happy about the "hidden" track though. What's that, a joke, an experiment or a new direction?

i know they did it in 2004 at the kerry benefit (10.21.04) @ the southgate house and @ the CST shows right after, these shows were just before the presidential election and that song is very politically charged. it's a great song.

OK. So not out of the question. Some songs just dont translate live in the absence of layers/musicians. I can imagine juicy has to achieve a delicate mix on this one.
Thanks Bill.
