Except that since the beginning of 2008 I have been vegan. I don't consume animal products anymore. Thanks for thinking of me anyway, darlin.

Not sure if this should be here or in recipes, but...

Basil Ice cream is wonderful and easy to make! Take some good vanilla ice cream (I like Vanilla Bean for this, but whatever you like, really) and let it get really soft but not runny. Tear up a bunch of basil into relatively small pieces, stir into the ice cream and refreeze. The oils from the basil will permeate the ice cream and taste wonderful, especially after some kind of Italian meal.
