Hi - I'm Paul - I'm from Sheffield in the UK and am probably considered to be a little long in the tooth by most of the board members - I'm 54!
I discovered OTR by accident whist looking for some mp3 downloads by Kate Rusby at
http://www.pastemusic.com/ and was more than pleasantly surprised. I love Karin's voice and think that Terri Templeton is great too.
Geographical note: Sheffield is famous for the steel it once manufactured and is north than Birmingham and south of Lancaster (just seen these two places mentoned on the board).

Welcome, Paul! Nice to meet you!
I love accidental music discoveries. They often turn up the best yields, don't you think?

welcome to the Orchard from another one past 50
and one who grew up around blast furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama
(except here we place the emphasis on a tight-throat HAM, or perhaps HAYAM)
enjoy this group
they have more than merely a love for OtR in their lives

Welcome Paul,
No worries about your age...you're still a pup compared to me. I'm 57, soon to be 58. Love of good music does not discriminate.
Stay a while and have fun.
