Hello everybody </Doctor Nick voice>
Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Nice board here, people seem very friendly.
Lessee...bio stuff...well, I live in Omaha, NE, which is fine, but OtR hasn't been here for years AFAIK. I'm 27, and got married last summer. My wife also enjoys OtR, otherwise she'd just be an ex girlfiriend, and not my wife. I'm only joking a little bit.
I work for an insurance company. Absolutely nothing exciting about that at all.
I'm a car guy, and a motorcycle rider when I can. I drive an Integra GS-R with the basic bolt ons (some of which I wish I didn't have now that I'm older and wiser) As for car racing, I autocross occasionally when funds permit and I love watching Formula 1 (go Button!) When I can, I ride my dad's second bike, which is a 1982 Yamaha Seca 400, while he cruises on his HD. I'm currently dreaming and saving up for a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 in the beautiful orange color.
I first heard OtR, oh, I dunno, a lifetime ago when I was an undergrad. I went to the local cool christian music store, and listened to this indie release at a listening station and upon hearing the first notes, I knew I had to have the CD. It was GDBD, and I've loved OtR ever since. When living in Iowa City for law school, I was able to see them several times at the Green Room, which was great. Have also seen the band once in Omaha, once in Grand Rapids at Calvin (on my birthday, very cool) once in Dubuque IA at the Busted Lift (awesome venue, so close, so intimate, so cool) and once at Schuba's in Chicago (another awesome venue).
So...yeah, I've drifted on long enough for now. Time to continue painting this wall in our apartment....

Florida Girl, I see you watch Cowboy Bebop! Awesome, awesome, awesome show. Just so utterly and undeniably cool. I'd buy the DVD's but they're so smegging expensive! I did buy some *ahem* bootlegged *ahem* CD's off ebay though...the music is just so incredible.

Yeah, I'm going to have to save up for those DVDs. I just saw the mangas in my campus bookstore the other day and nearly exploded.

Heh. I actually don't work for that specific company (assuming you are talking about Mutual of Omaha). I work for a different one...we're owned by Warren Buffet, second richest man in the world, and also an Omaha native. We insure commercial stuff. Garages, car dealers, truckers, churches, and the like. Lots of different stuff. We don't have a nature show named after us though.
