well, where to begin?

born and raised in the pacific northwest, usa. currently living in canada, with plans to move back to the states come the end of the year.

love books (dickens, dillard, hugo, lewis) music (sixpence none the richer, over the rhine, the innocence mission...) travel, tea, coffee, and getting to know people with all sorts of backgrounds and beliefs.

graduated with a BA in intercultural studies a year ago (at the same place Linford went to HS, actually) and am looking into going on to get my masters in the years to come. (anyone know of a good place to go?)

looking forward to getting to know some of you better.

blessings!

Welcome, Joshua!

Not sure what you're looking for in a grad school, exactly, but you might check out the programs at Wheaton. They offer a couple of intercultural studies degrees.

Can I say that I love your signature quote? I have a t-shirt with that quote on it (for they will know we are Christians by our t-shirts). I work for Wycliffe Bible Translators, so I'm pretty interested in missions. smile.gif Do you have any involvement there, or are you just a supporter?
joshua

well that is cool. not at Sacred Heart by chance?

and also you are right about the crime you would be committing if you said you didn't like coffee!

Deaconess, actually.

how long did you live in Spokane? i spent about 20 years there.

my parents still call it home, and my sister lives in N. Idaho now. i've not been back in a while, but i'm looking forward to visiting in about 10 days or so.

Yes! Someone caught the reference! He had another one that said "I sing in my car." I wanted that one, too.

I have that one, too, though in my case it ought to be amended to "I sing in other people's cars." wink.gif
