Betsy is real blend of the two of us. She looks so much like Myron sometimes, (She definitely looks a bit like Myron's sisters when they were little!) but other times I can definitely see myself. I'm sure it will change many times as she grows.

All I know is that I love that little gal!

Thanks Janelle. This is one of my favorites, taken just after she turned four. I got her this outfit for Christmas because she had a huge princess fetish and that worried me. The joke that Christmas went, "I got my daughter a kight costume for Christmas just so make sure she knew she could always save herself." Hehe.

There are actually two dogs and a cat in that pic. Cat is Anakin, the older dog (choc. brown lab-shepherd mix) is Baloo, and the other dog (golden retriever-Australian shepherd mix) is Gracie.

casey (ray's youngest) had her first soccer tournament of the season this saturday. they came in first place, and totally dominated the field.

i took a 7-hour drive on friday to see her, and drove 7 hours home on sunday. it was worth it though. funny how these tiny kids all of a sudden feel like they've always been there, you know? she fits in so well!

braedon (my great nephew, a week & two days old today) and i having a chat & a nap this morning...

I loved that "chat and nap" phase of life.
Don't get me wrong, I like the current 4 year old and 1.5 year old phases too...but it IS amazing how quick they grow up.
