If anyone's going tonight to the Monastery show and would be willing to pick up a copy of Ric's new compilation of unreleased stuff (including one previously unreleased OTR track!!) - let me know!
Thanks!

For the first time since Patience, I think I'm going on an OTR live show hiatus! And no, it's not just so Bill can feebly try to catch up to my massive live show count.. I just think it'd be amazing to hear songs for the first time on the album, and to hear them in sequence on the album as a whole. And they always like to sneak in a song or two here and there - by the time the album's out, I know 1/2 of the stuff..
Am I crazy?

The pictures on the actual link are the best, as they have pictures captioned with these tantalizing descriptions:
QUOTE A small room that was formerly used as a holding cell still stands in the basement. QUOTE Carl Lawson, an employee at Bobby Mackey's Music World in Wilder, stands by the infamous "Hell's Gate" well, located in the club's basement. The well is said to have been used for satanic rituals in the past and is now thought by some to be a gate to hel Link from cincinnati.com QUOTE Bobby Mackey's to host live ghost hunt and conference WILDER - One of Campbell County's most well-known haunted spots is the site for an upcoming live ghost hunt and conference. The crew of the Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures Crew (GAC) is hosting the event at Bobby Mackey's Music World in Wilder Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Thursday, Jan. 22. R.J. Seifert, who does promotions for the club, and owner, country music singer Bobby Mackey, said after the GAC filmed a show at the club that had a lot of success, crew members asked if they could hold a conference there, unrelated to the show. Crew members Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin will host the conference, which includes live ghost hunts at the club, a performance by Bobby Mackey and lectures from Exorcist Bishop James Long, EVP Specialists Mark and Debby Constantino, Jeff Belanger, an author and lecturer of the paranormal and Doug Hensley, author of "Hell's Gate - Terror at Bobby Mackey's." Seifert said people from all over the country have shown interest in the club for the paranormal occurrences reported there, especially after the GAC show aired. "It's amazing to me the response they received," Seifert said. The club, which is located on the site of an old slaughterhouse, is said to have seen everything from satanic sacrifices and suicide to organized crime murders, Seifert said. Employee Carl Lawson said this history has lead to many spirits haunting the club. Lawson, who gives tours of the club's basement, where the infamous "Hell's Gate" well is located, said he grew up next to the site and has spent his whole life witnessing the unexplained things that happen in the building. "It's an astonishing building with an amazing history," Lawson said. "I've seen a lot happen here, and I feel there is a story here that needs to be more exposed." Lawson said he hopes the GAC conference will bring more national acknowledgment of the occurrences at the club. Someone (band? us?) should work at marketing The Orchard a bit towards other OTR fans that may not know about it. Maybe a one sided CD-sized printout at the merch table that describes this place. It'd be fun to have even more "in the know"!
