So is anyone else watching this time around? This is the first time I've gotten into it so far. My favorites at this moment are the grey-haired guy (Taylor?), the bald rock 'n roll guy, Kellie Pickler, and Katherine McPhee (though no one else seems to like her). I really don't like the young kids--especially the basketball playing girl with the weird name, the arrogant kid who looks like Lionel Ritchie, and the boy who looks like he's 12. Oh yeah, I also like the smoky-sounding girl who did Heart this weeks...she's uber sexy...

Seriously, I think she's so good. She may lack some of the charisma/performance skills of some of the more seasoned folks, but her voice is absolutely gorgeous!

Holy crap Chris' arrangement of "I Walk the Line" was incredible last night! Actually, most of them sounded pretty good last night--even little Kevin did a song that didn't make me completely cringe. Anyway, getting back to Chris, it's too bad he has to wait until after the show to put out his cd--I think his cover will be a great single, but it would have been nice to catch on to the "Walk the Line" movie Oscar buzz...

I think Chris is overrated and outdated. I see him as the new lead singer for Creed or Bon Jovi or Winger.

Chris is getting by on his looks and his good press for taking care of his wife's kids that he married into. He may be a good guy after all, but he doesn't have the originality that I would vote for.

I like Taylor the best.

I cannot believe Mandisa got the boot.
And how is it that Bucky is still there? And Ace? He stinks. I think he is still there because he is cute. That is all he has. He has that same 'doe in the headlights' stare wth every song.
My favorite is Chris and Catherine.
I think Catherine will win it but I know Chris will record. Great pipes. She makes singing look so easy.
I like Elliot's voice but I think he is just immature.
They all look terrified.

If there is any justice in the world, they will track down that Eastern European girl who of "questionable talents" who auditioned to Bohemian Raphsody and have her perform again next week!

So, I just saw a little clip of Katherine doing KT's song Black Horse and a Cherry Tree and it was awful. Blech.

Kat will win. Elliot will go home next week, and Chris and Taylor will turbo boost their careers after being "runners up"

Taylor's career wil be just as great as Bo Bice's career.

Of the popular Joe Cocker songs, You're So Beautiful, is a real bore. The guy is just a bit on the creepy side to become major pop star.

He really needed to cover, You can leave your Hat on or With a little help from my Friends....I think the Wonder Years song would be his grandslam.

My vote's for Kat. Overall a better marketability.
I have to work tonight. Gonna miss the final episode. Bummed about it.
