I saw him once, and I was really impressed. I used to have "The Grape Prophet" by LSU (that was one of his bands, right?). As a charismatic (at the time at least), I kind of got offended and sold it. Now I wish I had it.

I got some live photos...but i'll have to post them on my site and link them, they're big. Might take a while to get it done...

I've seen him once, been a fan since like...92 or something. I think he's a genius.

You can order it from his site...it's a CDr copy (he owns the rights so it's legal) And the CD has original artwork on it done by hand..its' pretty cool.

L.S.U. at Cornerstone in '93 was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. wasn't much of a fan before, but "Shaded Pain" closing out the festival, sung in full clown outfit, was unbelievable. chills ran through me. I've bought about 100 of his CDs since then, which means I'm probably about halfway or so to completing my Michael Knott collection. of course by the time I finish typing this, he will probably have released another 20 more projects...

lol

No joke. That man...I just don't understand how one person can have so much inside their brain.

I have 11 of his CD's...I gave up on trying to get all of them. I don't have enough money.

when i saw michael at sonshine i was only at that stage because my brother was waiting to hear somebody... maybe it was tournequette or someone like that. and then he got up on stage... just him and a guitar and he told the best stories and i talked to him afterwards for maybe 2 seconds... and of course now i have questions to ask him. at the time i just wanted to take him home with me.

ok knott-heads, this in today:
============================
Hi everyone,

"Comatose Soul" will be back from the manufacturer in about two weeks.
Within the next few days, it will be available for sale on
www.michaelknott.com. As a special introductory offer to celebate its
long-awaited release, many items will be reduced in price when purchased in
addition to "Comatose Soul".

The sleeve was designed by Tyler Heshka (www.tylerheshka.com) and features
new artwork by Gerard. Michael revised the track order to give the album a
different feel than the pre-release; it includes new and bonus tracks.

For those of you who own the pre-release of "Comatose Soul", this is a fresh
and complete product which more accurately represents Michael's vision. If
you do not own it, this is definitely a Michael Knott album that you don't
want to miss.

for those without the Grape Prohet (my personal fave). There are two copies up on ebay right now.

Here and Here

One of them is a buy it now for $24.95, which I have to say is a fair price. It is long long long out of print.

Peace out!

That Cush CD is great...and hard to find too. I found my copy on ebay.

actually northern records just repressed the album and they have a ton of copies for sale..... www.northernrecords.com

that album is amazing....easily one of my top 10 favorite albums.

also, if you go to the northern store you need to pick up Hearts of Care by Mike Knott....its another amazing piece of art that he has done.

I only have the first Aunt Betty's, and I have to say, though it sounds great, I never find myself listening to it, or ever sticking with it when I do play it. a fair bit of re-recorded overlap with his other stuff (rocket and a bomb material mostly). if I ever lost this cd, I'd have to say I probably wouldn't worry about replacing it.
now shaded pain, on the other hand, I already have 2 copies of, just in case something should ever happen to one...

I agree--it's one of Knott's better albums that I've heard. I also like Rocket and a Bomb and Shaded Pain. But Aunt Betty's gave Knott a chance to get a little nastier.
