QUOTE(posty mcposterton @ Jul 11 2004, 02:58 PM) I like Mike Goergin's jazzy style... I like Dave LaB, but I don't know... Mike wins on cool factor. http://www.mikegeorgin.com/ I like the 2 sets of over the rhine idea, but I'd like to have Linford do his solo piano stuff. I'd like to see Karin, Terri Templeton, Kim Taylor and Nikki Beurig harmonize on ANYTHING while ChrisDahlgren played away in the background on his Upright bass.

ok, here's my wacky idea for a great evening, a family reunion of sorts...
- jack henderson & terri templeton (obvious connections, plus terri's first solo album was all songs by, and produced by jack) - ric & monk w/kim taylor - otr w/full band and all of the above wondering in and out to play and accompany on predetermined songs (maybe with ric, jack & matt on 3 guitars they could finally tackle the often requested "freebird" works for me... This post has been edited by bivester: Jul 19 2004, 10:26 PM -------------------- "music can change people, people can change the world" ~unknown "and i'm so twitterpated about bill, i just tuned the wrong guitar...i said twitterpated, that's what i said." ~karin @ cst | dayton (sat | 04.09.2005) Rhinestoned Cowboys, Ltd.®© est. 2003 & proud "oft-seeming elitist rhinelander" ©pmcp-2007 one-hundred[100]fifty[50]one[01] ...and what is my favorite OtR show? the next one. |
